How to connect ChatGPT, Claude or Grok
You need a free 5minstore account. The server address is the same for all three: https://5minstore.de/api/mcp

ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Apps & Connectors, create a custom connector (developer mode, depending on your plan) and enter https://5minstore.de/api/mcp. Then sign in to 5minstore once and allow access.

Claude
In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors, choose "Add custom connector", enter https://5minstore.de/api/mcp and confirm access in 5minstore.

In Grok, add a custom remote MCP server under Connectors (paid Grok plan) and enter https://5minstore.de/api/mcp. Sign in as above.

Your AI only gets access to your store drafts, not to passwords, payment details or your Shopify login. You can disconnect it any time in the dashboard.
And after launching on Shopify?
Shopify handles checkout, payments and orders. 5minstore is meant to stay your simple control panel: keep working with us or with your AI, on the same store. On the free plan the assistant ends with the move; on Pro it stays with you (price to follow, waitlist at /en/plans).
Today: changes go into your draft. Sending changes to a running Shopify store isn't available yet. We'll only switch it on once preview, confirmation and a verified sync are in place.
FAQ
Does AI control cost extra?
Not until you move to Shopify: you only need a 5minstore account and a ChatGPT, Claude or Grok plan that allows custom connectors. After the move, the assistant is part of the Pro plan.
Can my AI see my suppliers?
No. Your AI sees your products, prices and copy, but no supplier platforms or supplier links.
Can the AI break something?
It only changes your draft. Every change checks whether the store was edited elsewhere in the meantime, and you can undo the last change.
How do I disconnect?
In the dashboard under Connections. After that, the AI has no access.
